Default Vac Lines

I've been putting plans together to put in a EFI 351 into my stang after my next tour in Iraq. I will be starting from scratch so I need to know what vac lines that I will have to have to get all the essentials. Thanks for the info in advance.

map sensor (only if going speed density) & brake booster are really the only necessary ones.

The luxury ones are; cruise control, vac reserve tank (for climate control), & the ones for the actual climate control.

You can run it without the vac reserve tank technically, but when you're on the throttle much it will stop blowing air until you let off throttle.

Are you planning on running a/c?

It will mass air, no a/c, and it will have the normal climate controls. Then obviously the brake booster. Do I have to run the charcoal canister for the fuel tank and lines?

Not unless you're trying to beat emissions.

I disconnected mine, but I still have the canister there (not required)
The only purpose of it is to keep evaporated gas vapors out of the atmosphere for less polution.

^^^^if you plan to run all the emissions stuff then just pattern it after a 5.0 efi 302 set up from 89-93

Nope no emmisions for me. I won't ever run that stuff on my stang and will never live in a state that requires a sniffer. Indiana doesn't even have any kind of inspections yet and its great! That is the reason why I got my 83 plated for indiana and not Texas lol.

Is the brake booster, FPR and climate controls the only things that uses the vacuum??

yes other than the vac reserve tank & cruise control
Most of the vacuum mess on the stock 5.0 is from emissions stuff.

Oh don't forget the pcv...
