5.0 For Life

Hey guys,im looking at a 94 5.0 with 186000 kilometers, or about 110000 miles on it. It has dynomax mufflers and a steeda tri-ax. The guy is asking $6800 which seems reasonable to me. What should I look for on the car so I know its not a total peice of garbage? Its going to be my daily driver. My friend has a 88 hatch, and he said that the 5.0 is bulletproof.

well I would have to say that i bought My 1994 Gt about 3 month ago with 98,000 miles for 4,000$ But it was also bone stock but that is what i wanted. I didn't want something that someone had fu*ked up. I looked for about 3 years for that right one. It was either my 94 Gt with no rust and pretty good silver paint and all perfect black interior, or a 95 cobra with 180,000 that need a paint job and new driver and passage seats and had the sh$t ran out of it .So i would have to say if you really like it buy it.
and yea look out for rust along the strut towers , and under the rocker panels and of course test drive it.

I am guessing since you said km's you're in Canada, you will not find one up here for 4000 dollars

thats seems like a decent deal


just take it for a spin, look for any oil leaks etc, but it should last you for a while

I bought my 94 bone stock for 4k and it has a perfect body and perfect interior. But perhaps they go for more up north like previously stated.

Ya im in Saskatchewan, Im also going to take it to the local Ford dealership and have them take a look at it. Anything I should tell them to do while they have it?
