Are shorty headers on a stock 89 Mustang GT auto worth the money or should I put the money elsewhere? If they are worth it what brand would be the best or are they all the same?

If it is completely stock I would put the money on something else first. Headers would be on the list, but futher down the list behind other things.

First 2 mods.. Headers and gears in whatever order is cost effective. It will be a whole new car........ But to answer your question, yes is it worth it on a stock stang.

I don't agree, underdrives, h-pipe, gears(I agree with you there).When I first got my car, just by gutting the converters I gained 4 tenths, headers aint going to give you that. I am not saying headers is a waste of $, just saying there are other things I would buy first.
