Ok so heres the deal... I have a 91 gt. It sat for about 10 months while i fixed some thing ie replace the injectors and pump and such.. Now the problem is when i try to start it the solenoid clicks but the starter wont do anything. I tried jumping out the solenoid, nothing.. everything just goes dead, all the lights and everything.. I pulled the battery out cause unless its plugged into a charger it does nothing. I replaced the battery with a spare.... nothing. if i take the battery completely out and try to jump the car useing my wrx it just makes lots of noise (sounds like something is shorting out or something) and still nothing.. every time i turn the key it just goes dead. What could still be causeing this? any help is very appreciated. thanks

Check all of your wiring. Sounds like you have a ground that has corroded and worked its way loose. BE sure to take your time and look at everything under the hood.

take the battery out of your wrx clean all battery conections including were the gound goes to the chassis and the block it may be wise to just buy new cables they're cheap they look better and if you scuf the ends and make sure every connection is free of pain and rust and use dielectric grease everything will work better youll be suprised how a good ground will make everything work a little better
