now I feel stupid... I didn't think about hooking up the one touch assembly to switch the polarity.. everything works fine. the tracks still kinda making noise and resistance but it works.
sorry about the dumb questions. I should have looked at it differently. I didn't put the door panel back on when I was testing it.
