Default throttle position sensor

how do you adjust the tps voltage i have seen people say it needs to between .6 and 1.01 but i dont know how to check it or adjust it some help would be great.

you need a dvom and you back probe the signal wire and loosen screws and rotate a little or leave as is if within the window of spec you posted

Probe the green wire on the TPS with the positive voltmeter lead and to ground with the black. Ideal voltage is .95 key on, the recommended range is .80-1.0 . Twist it to desired setting and tighten it down.

Run the DIY KOEO/KOER self tests, If you don't see any TPS related failure codes (23, 53 or 63)... no need to adjust a non-adjustable sensor. The ECM is doing its job and the sensor is within its working range. There is no such thing as an "optimum" TPS voltage setting... the computer filters its output to be the same within its working range.
