Default Hi-6s vs 6al

i was looking to buy the crane Hi-6s box and coil kit instead of going with a msd 6al it seems like a good ignition especially for the price. does anyone have this or is there anything i should know, numbers wise its pretty equal and it comes with the harnesses and mounting bracket for a reasonable price. thanks for your input
p.s. im running a msd pro billet dist if that makes a difference

Stay away from the Hi-6s it's POS. The Hi-6 is a very good unit. The MSD 6al is an excellant proven unit but is getting dated, has a hig current draw and is unforgiving if voltage drops plus you have to swap pill for rev limiter swaps. It's proven but dated. Check out the MSD-6al2. I'm using the Mallory 6al this time. The Jury is still out on it.
