95 master cylinder

95 master cylinder
i believe i read somewhere that the master cylinder from a 94 and 95 mustang will bolt in place of the one i have in my 92 and since it has a larger plunger diameter it will increase braking? is this correct? my buddy gave me his master cylinder out of his 95 cobra that he wrecked.
i still plan to use my portioning valve and keep the drums in the rear for now

if im not mistaken your talking about how the fox has 3 lines coming off of it and the sn95 has 2 correct? do you have a plumbing diagram how to run the lines because when i installed my line lock, i had to do a 3-2 conversion. as of right now, the 3rd hole on my stock MC is plugged with a threaded plug and the only 2 lines that are connected are the two on the side. is this the same as what you say i need to do?

i read this http://mjbobbitt.home.comcast.net/~m...s_94cobra.html and i did that 3-2 thing already because of my line lock. i says tho that i need to use the hard lines from the 95 that go from the MC to the PV. i didnt get those from him, guess ill have to get them tomorrow.
is it worth it to go from the 92 to the 95 cobra MC? the plunger on the cobra is only 1/16" bigger. if it was a non cobra 95 it would be 3/16" bigger

for what youve already done before for your line lock for the 3-2 conversion it should be the same style set up. from what ive read it is a pretty significant difference even though the physical size of the plunger isnt that different.

i would except for the fact that my buddy has a 95 cobra that was nailed by some one running a red light sitting in his garage. i didnt have to hunt for the MC in a junkyard i just had to cut the front of his car off so we could pull the motor and he gave it to me.
when bleeding the brakes you start with the farthest wheel first right? its been years since the last time i did brakes
