so i have a 81 inline six with an 82 5.0 waiting to go in, one of my big concerns is my k-member. i dont really want to drop $250 onto a new tubular k-member considering my local junkyards have a few. so my question is will any year k-member swap over or are there only certain ones. my junkyard has 86, 87, and a couple of 93 k-members. all of the websites i have found all state 79-89 are the same.

but you'll be fine with a 4 banger one or a 3.8 V6 one...

wow guess i kinda got screwed lol, well not too bad, maybe next time i'll search for parts before i decide what year. was just wanting to hear from those more knowledgable than myself, the guy at the junkyard said that only 80-83 would fit but i was doubting that because of so many other interchangeable parts. are there any other parts i should pull with it just to be safe? or should i be alright with just the k-member?
