Vacuum issues, white smoke... NOT GOOD please help...
Ok this is what I did. Started with a 3g upgrade. Then removed vacuum canister and capped line from fuel tank, and tube under intake plenum where it connected to. Put new gas cap on tank. Then removed ball reservoir and other emission thing under passenger fender. Then removed all the solenoids attached to passenger strut tower.Removed cruse control under drivers fender including vacuum hose to the vacuum T(and capped) and to the brake switch under dash. Hooked EGR to intake, then routed new line from vacuum T (above brake booster) to line that goes into the cab for the heater controls. That one was located right next to where the AC line goes through the firewall.
After starting it up, it would run real rough and mild white smoke with a lil gas smell. Then it would die. Basically I removed or hooked up something wrong and cannot figure it out. I know I am a DUMB A$$... I unfortunately do not have a vacuum diagram so I cannot just put it back the same. I have no smog pump, and do not have to worry about emissions at all.
Will the car god's please help me with this minor problem. 87 GT 5.0
