go suspension for sure...but dont waste your money on that strut tower brace and lakewood traction bars.....get a good set of upper and lower contol arms, (i will suggest teamZmotorsports street setup, those are SWEET control arms) make sure you get good subframes, (like maximum motorsports XL's) and the shocks and struts are good, but if you are going to go the track and drive on the street i would go with the strange adjustables ( i just took my lakewoods off, for the strange's and i like them alot,

just my .02

Well i will be driving it to school everyday, but i dont car about the ride really. I have already taken out the A/C and smog pump delete. Backseat is gone and subs are easy to remove. I forgot to mention that I have a "pieced together" 4" fenderwell air induction, but I'm still running speed density, which should probably be one of the upgrades I do (going to a 76mm MAF).

Where should I look for the best prices for the online suspension parts? summit? jegs doesnt seem to have much choice for Foxes.

best deal you can find. you can swap the spring out with whatever you want by calling a rep, you dont have to keep the C springs. you save a lot of money buying it this way. then all you need is subframe connectors, upper and lower control arms and you are set!!!

I'd buy a used Vortech supercharger and be done with it.

I wouldn't because traction could become a problem if he just slapped that on and he wouldnt be able to find that with in his budget and get a tune

The truth is, you can find a used/good condition V1 SC for $1200-1600(check the Corral). Many times, they come complete and with upgraded parts(powerpipe, smaller SC pulley, etc.) A tune costs about $500(at least here anyway). For about $2 g's, you can get a reliable 300hp Mustang. Plus, intalling an SC is way easier than installing a full H/C/I. Trust me! Plus, there's nothing sweeter than the sound of a V1 SC whistling under the hood. As for traction, he'll be fine. At worst, some Nitto 555r's will cure the problem.

First id strip the other car of all usable equipment and put it to use.

Then if the rear end really is a 9in with 4.10's id sell it thats worth a chunk of change alone!

Then id get a cheap set of aluminum heads like the procomps or something along the line of ebay special and go sprayed or forced induction.

If thats not a route youre interested in id say AFR's and a healthy cam.
