Whenever my car is cold, If i put the trans into drive it free revs. however if i put it into reverse first or second it shifts and moves normally. So, when i first drive it when its cold i go 1st, 2nd, drive. but for the first mile or so it just randomly goes in and out of o/d and 3rd. Also, if i come to a complete stop within a mile or so it won't move in drive and just free revs, however i pop it in first then move, then go to drive and all is normal. after about 2-3 miles the trans works just like stock and shifts fine every time. is this a sign that she's starting to go?

sounds to me like you have a pressure problem. how long has it been since filters been changed? and check your tv cable bushing at the throttle body.

arent you doing a 5 speed swap soon?

if so, put 2 ounces of DOT3 brake fluid into your trans fluid...

its an old timer trick I learned

lol^^^^guy that worked for us did that once, got 2 more weeks out of the tranny until it finally died all together.......it'll swell the seals up and hopefully keep it going a little more

so its really that close to going out? yes when it does go i'll be swapping in a 5sp.
