I have seen people use the vacuum tree

i have also seen someone hook the fmu up to the vacuum tree.
Still waiting on that to be a mistake.(if it is one)

Damn, me retarded.

Well on with the three holes in on the S/C, the first set on the air intake, the second set on the air discharge entering the lower intake, I put the gauge on one of the free holes (long story here just go with it), and it gave me a vacume reading, and yes, it was sucking in, which I found odd, should have been blowing out being that it was on the discharge and not intake side.

Oh, BTW, reason I'm asking this is I got my boost gauge when I bought my first S/C, the Vortech which was too incomplete for me to bother working with, and of course, it had no instructions.

Yea umm. You don't get boost unless the car is under load, same with detonation (pinging). Revving in neutral does nothing other than make noise.

I may be wrong, but that's how I understood it as well when I read the manual, cause I thought the car had to be under load as well. It may be pining and I just didn't hear it, I was more concerned with the backfire, in any since, it will be fixed shortly.
