Default later gt40 lower intake

So I'm getting ready to start putting my engine together and I was digging through some parts in some boxes. I realized that my lower intake doesn't have a place for the act sensor. Can I drill and tap the intake where it would be on the stock intake or can I just relocate it somewhere else? any info is appreciated.

i/ve heard you can go to the intake box but just tap it with a 3/8 npt (national pipe thread). its not hard to do. about 30$ at ace hardware for the bit and tap. you can also do the one in the rear boss for the coolant near #4 with the same tap
