Question

well im not sure now. if Portmaster said that he has been fooled i easily could have been. Im almost positive its not a header tho. Two reasons. First is that i just replaced the header gaskets when i did my heads and when i went to readjust my rockers today, i found two weak lifters. the spring was so weak that even after turning the nut a full turn it was still able to be pushed down. the others were very different. i ordered new lifters.

wat i need to know now is wat direction should the little notch on the lifters face. (there is a small triangular shaped notch towards the top on my lifters). im guessing its for oil to pass through. i didnt look to see wat way they faced when i was pulling them out cause im a noob.haha let me know wat you guys think. thanks

Doesn't matter which direction they face.

iT'S NORMAL some bleed down will occur after motor is shut off......I wouldn't be positive that's the issue.

i took all the lifters out and all of them were fine accept two. they were noticeably weaker. everything in the valve train is brand new accept them so i belive this it. if not then it doesnt hurt to have the new ones in there anyway. If the problem continues ill look elsewhere. i have hi hopes for this one tho ha. im at the point where all i wanna do is drive it. i dont even care how fast it goes ha.
