Default valve springs

would 302 valve springs work on a 351w head? the 351w is also stock.

not sure on teh specs but the probably arent the same springs from 302 to 351. i'd say no becasue you wont reach the full potential of the cam putting the incorrect springs on the head. sure they'll fit...but not perform as wel as they could

It depends on the year. 302 and 351 heads are essentially the same. In most years, they're exactly the same, no differance in valves or springs. But early heads had some differances.

351w is 1972 and the 302 is mid 80's i think.
