Default 90 rear end question

My son's 90 302 automatic trans. Mustang has a broken bolt that holds the axle retainer pin in. Judging by the broken bolt as compared to a new one, there are still 1 or 2 threads still holding the bolt (and pin) in. Any ideas how we can get it out? We've already drilled a 1/8" hole to open up the bottom of the bolt in order to put air pressure on it. Then we tried to turn the bolt out with a pick, but it wouldn't budge.

Try soaking it down w/ carb cleaner to help break down the lock tight and then take a hammer and wrap on the area to see if you can break it loose. I have had luck doing that.
