a9l computer

i've got a a9l computer in a 88 mustang gt and was wondering if thats the stock computer or if its out of sometheing else

Mine has a d3d computer.
Technically it is a 93-1/2. (Don't know if that makes a difference or not?)

A9S and 8LD = CA '88 - 93 manual transmission
8LF and 8LG = CA '88 - 93 auto transmission
