and you can get them in a kit from summit racing. hard to beat for the money.

hmmm, i didnt know that, well, i hope they are right. i would still give trick flow a call, and explain that theyre isnt any valve reliefs in the stock 86 pistons, and make them garentee that they would work b/fore i spent my money.

I think I would check them I would not trust any one without checking them.I have seen E7 heads touch 86 pistons just from being overreved a bit on my wifes car did not hit hard enough to bend any valves but you could see very small hit spots on the tops of the pistons.someone at some time put a 86 motor in her 89 coupe.it is very easy to check piston to valve clearance and it is better to be safe then sorry.as said that is alot of money to throw away.
