sounds like a cable issue or fork issue, how did the clutch pedal feel when the prob occured??, did it feel like it was moving the clutch fork??? if it felt fine, could still be a shift rail issue in the tranny.....

Clutch felt really tight and was moving the fork but didn't seem to be pulling it out enough like. Something was binding
Check the bearing retainer sleeve, not sure if your year has an aluminum one or not. There is an upgrade to steel which resists wear and hanging of the TOB.
