hanging idle when the clutch is pushed in
looking for some suggestions for a hanging idle on a 88 mustang gt. motor has been stroked to a 347. when the the clutch is depressed while the car is in motion the idle will hang around 2000 rpm for any where up to 30 secs to a minute. i have unplugged the speed sensor but it is still doin it.. any ideas

do you still have an idle air control (i'm sure its a stupid question) Mine stuck this weekend and hung the idle at 2.5k or 2k, i could just let my clutch out and it could go, replaced the iac with one off of a 4 banger motor we had and it cleared up

yeah the idle sensor is there and has been replaced and voltage checked..the hangin idle is random in the sense that it does it hot or cold and varies how long it will hang.. its like the speed sensor is still reading movement even tho its been unplugged
