Looking to buy this ladies 96 stang GT conv. BUT it has a 5.0 in it saw alum piece on top w/ 5.0 on it.......can this be??? She swears it is stock and she drove slow thought I was driving too fast when testing...Kinda funny. Has 166,000 miles on it very clean had trans done 2 yrs ago brakes new the top motor did not lift it she could do it manually my old 93 top would not budge if motor died. Heard whirring sound on top motor ANY IDEAS HELPFUL Thought it may have been an in between production car 95-96 and got 5.0 engine from 95 in a 96 yr.
