Default Help with code 172 (running lean)

I pulled a code 172 from KOEO and KOER. Supposed to be O2 sensor bank running lean.

I just bought my 94 GT 5.0 and don't see any O2 sensors on the exhaust. My car has shorty headers, off road h-pipe with no cats and flowmaster exhaust. I see one O2 Sensor port on the passenger side header but it's plugged with a threaded metal plug.

My car is running like complete crap and I need to find a way to clear that code. What are my options here?

That place on the 3rd primary on the passenger header is the EGR port not the O2 there in the actual H-pipe itself if it has them! if its aftermarket h then the bungs are about 10in from the mating flange.

I did and litte research on Code 172 and turns out that my O2 sensors should be okay and that they are telling me I'm running lean. I guess I will start with cleaning the MAF and go from there.

Bad O2 sensors that are stuck reading too lean, will cause your car to run too rich, creating all kinds of idle and stumbling issues.

So you really should TEST the O2 sensors...
