Default Main Cap Bearings

I put the main bearings in the caps and the line and the ones on all the caps protrude out a little bit. About 0.035 in.
Will these bearing compress when torqued or will they crack? I dont want to torque them down and break them.

You mean the edge of the bearing sticks out past the edge of the block?

the bearings in the block are flush but the ones in the caps stick out. Not to the sides but where they would contact each other when put together.

They're supposed it. It's called crush and is designed into the bearing.
