Default Totaled car, no ignition key, need a bit of help

My 91 was totaled back in the spring. 91 5.0 vert with an AOD. Got hauled off to the salvage pool after sitting at a wrecking yard for two weeks. Got it back from insurance 2 months later. We now have a 90 5.0 vert with a T5 we're grafting the 91's 'good stuff' onto.

Somewhere in all this moving around by third parties, the ignition key was removed from the wrecked 91. NO ONE has a clue where it it went. >:|

It's in perma-Park.

I don't have another ignition key.

I don't want to pay $100 bucks to have a locksmith come in from out of town to cut another.

Is there a release on the transmission somewhere under it that will let us put it in drive or neutral so we can pull the dash and drag it into the shop?

jack the car up, pop shifter cable off and manually move the arm on the tranny to the desired position, should take 5-10 min max

I would drill carefully and just watch all the pieces of metal fall out and just go to napa and buy a new ignition lock for under $20.
