Alternator Problems! Help!

Default Alternator Problems! Help!

Recently i put in a PA Performance 130 Amp Alternator. My cars been running fine but the fact that my voltage is dropping and the "Amp" light is on the dash. How do you fix this?

check all the connections, did u upgrade your power feed wire to the alternator, and grounds?

I was going to get a new and same one. I also have that problem I should look it all over before I buy I suppose. Lights go dim with heater on high the big drainer is my turn signals.
I do have 14 volts at idle but am thinking it maybe something else.

Check the fusible link wire on the starter solenoid.

I did get the power wire upgrade with the alternator. I still have major power drains with my lights or radio or window shield wipers on
