I was jw. Most people post the advertised duration, which is always much higher than what the duration actually is. I was going to say that would hurt it a bunch, but you've seem to go it covered with your friend's testimony. I would still look into a custom cam, this build is not going to be cheap

First question what have you driven as far as power wise?

We done a stock block 347 with a tfs trackheat intake 75mm tb 42lb injectors with CCA-35-306-8 and the 170 tfs track heads and it broke everything put behind it, 3 t-5s with aftermarket internals which dosent say much but kept busting the c4 planetary housings 2 times, and never had more than about a 20mph roll and once it hit about 4lbs of boost @ 3400rpms it started breaking trannys! that was with a V-1 10lb setup.

point is just going from stock to 600+ will be a hand full not to mention the entire build, you better not only think of dumping money into an engine but the entire car, once you pass about 400hp the entire game plan changes........

^^^This. Hell, I haven't even started my motor just for that reason. I want 650hp and there's just a multitude of things you need to do before you even think of that type of power. If you want manual, You better start looking at a TKO-600 or a T-56 magnum. Also look into welding the unibody. Enforcing your torque boxes. Building your 8.8 rearend or going 9in. And so much more. I'd look into driving it now if you can and just do what I'm doing and cross the above off the list as you go.

I was just about to say that, good luck with your whole drivetrain and what kind of rear end do you plan on holding this bad b"$%h?
