Default Balancing headache

So my balancing shop is throwing a fit because I brought them my crank/rods/pistons already assembled. They refuse to take the rings off of the pistons and won't take the pistons & rods apart.

So, they said its up to me to take it apart if I want it balanced. I'm going to pick everything up tomorrow. Before I even jump into it, how do you take the spiral locks out???

SPIRAL LOCKS are why they are complaining lol there a bitch!
You just have to find the end and remove them with a scribe!

They have to weigh each end of the rod to get everything right! And they dont wanna buy you a new set of rings if they break those...

If they can't or won't take a set of rings off a piston without breaking them I wouldn't fool with them.

I had talked to a guy last week that said bring in everything, "we can take the rods apart no problem". Who knows. Sounds like they dont want to do the extra work since they already invoiced me the price

Just don't even try to re-use those spiro-locks, once they are taken off the piston the life of them is over..........
