Default Ford Racing Adjustable Clutch Cable

I'm going to replace my stock clutch soon. I decided to buy a Ford Racing Clutch, matching cast iron flywheel, Throw Out Bearing, Rear Main Seal, etc. Question: who has a Ford Racing Adjustable Clutch Cable installed? Pros? Cons? My car is mainly stock, with a few bolt on goodies, like shorty headers, 75mm TB, Electric Fan, CAI, etc. Probably around 270 HP...

I always heard just stick with the stocker replacement. I'm in the same boat as you.

Yeah, that's what I've been reading too... I already ordered the Ford Racing Adjustable Cable online but it's on backorder... might just cancel that order and get a stock one, if I can find one...

I can't find the quick release one you have offered as a kit...
If you say I'll be ok with the double hook though, then I'll go ahead and get it. It's about the same price as the ford racing one that's on back order. I'll get a refund from CJ Pony Parts.

Dont get the Ford Racing one. It is junk. Broke 2 in 2 years. Call up Maximum Motorsports and get a OE replacement one or get one from your local dealer. They will tell you they dont have it but get one for a 04. Same cable just a tad bit longer. Then run a firewall adjuster and aluminum quadrant.

Thanks - I just canceled my Ford Racing Adj Cable kit (it was on back order) and ordered the kit from MM. Seems much higher quality!
