You sure don't want to run fuel into the cabin with the mechanical fuel guage.
I installed new Cobalt Auto Meter gauges in my stock dash from Florida 5.0,
Looks great at night.

I run my oil pressur gauge in the cabin with copper tubing to it. Been doing that for 35+ years on cars and have never had a problem.
Fuel pressure gauge is on cowl and also run with copper tube.
I will only use a mechanical gauge as I don't want any chance of sending unit failure....

do these gauges typically come with all the hardware needed to hook them up, or would i need to buy fitting and such to connect them?
for example, for oil pressure, i would imagine it is going to connect to the spot where the stock oil pressure switch is. would the new gauge come with a tee to put in there to add the line for the gauge and allow the original switch to continue working? or would i need to keep an eye out for a 'kit' of some sort?

You should pick up a new sender while you're at it. I wouldnt worry about getting a tee fitting. The stock gauge still sucks whether it functions or not lol
