Hey guys,

I noticed a whine when I hit high gears. Only 5th gear, and sometimes 4th. She only whine when I'm on the throttle, once I get off the whine disappears. The whine is more aggravating than anything, but there's also the fear that I'm damaging my car.

is it coming from the rear of the car?? if so, could be an issue with the gear installation.....have gears been installed recently??

It sounds like it's coming from the transmission. And the gears haven't been touched.

if it's coming from the tranny, time for a rebuild.....could be a bad bearing in the tranny or surface on said gears
