Moates Quarterhorse vs local tuner

Thank you! You're right, a lot of time, money, and sanity went into this car. Almost every thing on it has been modified, upgraded, or changed. The only thing left to upgrade is the stock T5.
If I had to do it again, I would actually do a few things differently.
1. SHORTY HEADERS!!!! NO LONG TUBES!!!! Nothing but trouble and not worth it.
2. Instead of building the car over three years and spending $17,000 in parts alone (zero cost in labor besides $225 for alignments and tires and 1,700 for the paint job). I would have just bought a perfect roller, bought a new/used motor like I did, a new transmission, and slap it all together. OR I would have bought a semi perfect roller, strip it, sandblast the car down to the frame, paint it and do the engine bay with rino liner, and buy the motor/transmission/ etc. and slap it together to save time and money.
3. I would have learned to paint cars sooner, so I could paint it better and cheaper.
That's pretty much it. Everything else I'm pretty happy with and wouldn't change what I did, but maybe the order and speed that I did it. This was my first car that I ever built, so it was a long learning process, but I'm happy with the results.

Thank you Bluebestsrt! I'm hoping for 12's. Even if it's 12.9999999999. I just want out of the teens. I'm going to be conservative with the engine, and drive it for another 650 miles, so I can say I gave it a proper shake down. Then I will probably take it to the dyno tuner to get the best tune and see what the actual numbers are. I'm hoping around 400hp since it's a 331 with AFR 185cc ported heads and such, but only time will tell. As for the track, I would thing 12's are possible, especially with drag radials, but only time will tell with that as well. I've never been to the track, so I don't want to talk smack and get 13's because I'm a noob driver.

lol Probably. I'm a pretty decent driver, but I still have a lot to learn. Do you guys have more pictures of your cars?
By the way, is it normal for reverse to be an even bigger pain in the a$$ with a big cam? I went to Auto Zone yesterday and backed up into my parking spot on the most minor incline and I stalled it 3 times with everybody watching. lmao I had to rev it up to 1,500 rpms just to back up. hahaha This damn cam sounds so good, and it turns more heads.... for better or worse. Would shorter gears help that at all? I have the 3.08's and am pretty sure I'm going to go with the 3.55's when I recover a little financially.

I'll be taking some decent ones this weekend. The pic's on my phone aren't for show lol.
Here's a teaser of my rainy day car, let the drooling begin.....
91 Civic, 194k and still knocks out 40 mpg with a four speed. By 40 mph I'm looking for 5th and it's just not there lol. I swear this thing is pulling 6000 rpm on the freeway.
