I wouldn't even worry about the dryer sheets if it's in a heated garage and as far as stabil goes, it'd be wise to start the car and drive it once a month

2 winters ago I stored my car with stabil and the gas was fine after the winter. I didn't start it at all throughout the winter. I'm doing the same this year except I'll prolly start it a few times just because I miss hearing it lol. I did the same thing, bought drier sheets and put them all over, stabil'd it, removed the battery, changed the oil, and thats it. I also washed and wax'd it before i put the cover on it.

I'm guessing if there is no chance of water getting underneath the carpet wouldn't be necessary? I was pathetic this summer. The car only saw 4 days of pavement all summer. I just never got around to swapping out the O/R midpipe back to OEM for emissions so just got temp tags for a couple weekends. Some muffler shops here won't touch anything to do with O/R systems, they just shoo you out the door. Is that the case where you guys are at?
