Smile Hey guys, home on leave

Howdy fellas. I got home yesterday from Afghanistan. I'm on my R&R leave for 2 weeks. I drove my car for the first time in 8 months last night. Its amazing how much you just want to stomp on it, but keep an eye out for cops.

Anyway, if anyone remembers, my wife was saying that the throttle was sticking, the flashers wouldn't turn off, and my rear view fell off. So i fixed the throttle issue last night. The throttle cable, right where it attaches to the TB, the little piston/spring area was sticking. So I just sprayed it down with WD40 and worked it, and now its working fine, though I should probably buy a new cable soon. I'm about to go work on the flasher problem. Its the turn signals, they won't turn off at all, no matter how much I mess with the multifunction switch. I had to unplug the hazard switch just to get them to turn off. And the flasher relay under the steering column works. I replaced it about a year ago.
And last but not least, my rear view mirror fell off. She said it got so hot in the summer that it just came off, and the tint on my rear windshield started bubbling up, so I gotta get that fixed too.

How come i just can't come home and chill out. There is always something to do.
