Through the traps I do feel as if it's starting to flatten out. I really never wanted to go past 6k cuz of stock block and idk the valvetrain....

If my tach was off by 800 rpm that still wouldn't give me 10-15 more mph
Is there any way to confirm rpm without a big tach

According to my gear speed calculator, your car, in 4th gear, at 108 MPH, is at 5400 RPM.

I agree with Justin, you should look into upgrading your springs.

6000 rpm with your current setup (gears, tire size, trans) would get you 122 mph.

I never knew a tach to be fast. I've always seen them be slow.

I would just hate to put a tach in if mine is working fine lol

Some days my tach is about 400 too high, some days its not (stock tach). Seems to have mood swings.

My factory one is consistent. But as you guys are saying it could be consistently wrong. I'm just not a fan of the bug tachs. Lol
