Default Found 1988 fender wells

So I didn't around me app search for auto salvage. Found one 2 miles away so I took a chance and stopped by. I asked him if he had any fox body Mustangs and he says yes I have four. Two convertibles and two hatchbacks One was scarlet red interior like mine. Inner fender wells were perfect the console was perfect and one of the visors was perfect. So waiting for the sticker shock to come I ask him how much? $25 for each inner fender $25 for the console $10 for the visor. I threw that money down so fast and paid for it and then come to find out they take the parts off so I don't even have to get dirty! It was a great day.

No kidding. I had a junk yard near me I made good friends with the owner.

Got stuff dirt cheap. It was also one of those places where they don't let customers in the yard but he would let me pull my own stuff.
I had a period of nothing breaking for a while and didn't stop by for a bit. I needed a gauge cluster for a 93 eclipse and decided to stop by and found out it was a new owner he sold the yard to.
This dude pulls it for me, has a crack in the casing and tries to charge me 300 for a used eclipse gauge cluster from a base model. Gave me some crap about it's a rare car and sports car parts aren't cheap.
I told him keep it and he tried to give me some crap about I needed to pay him for the labor of pulling it still. I walked out and drove another 45 minutes and got the same thing for 10 bucks in another yard.

That guys no longer in business......... I wonder why.
