Default Stock pump with BAP - Cant get past 600 rwhp

Hey Guys, I have a stock pump with a KB boost a pump and 60lb injectors. I can't seem to get past 600 rwhp before I run out of fuel. Any thoughts? Is that as much as this set up will push? Thanks

Give Blow by racing or Evolution performance a call. They have plenty of 5.0's way over 600rwhp, and I believe BBR has their own fuel system for the 5.0's.

Seems a little weird though that your running out of fuel at 600. I would think it would be around 700 with a BAP

Go to 75lb injectors. That's what I have to do. Vortech's shop car is making 7** something. Can't remember off the top of my head. But they told me they had to go to 75lb injectors. They also have a boost a pump.

80lbs injectors in it now... Put a fuel pressure guage on it and it drops from 58psi to 52psi at 5500+ rpm on the dyno. Needs a fuel system I guess.

Maybe 80lb is too big. The 60's were definitely too small for 700's, but I would think 80's would be a little to big for the stock fuel system with a BAP to keep up with.

Take a look at this link. Evolution performance uses 75#'s in their kit with a BAP and theyre getting Produces 775 SAE hp @ 7400 rpm and 700 SAE lb.-ft. @ 4200 rpm, at 12 psi of boost

Yeah, I think they address the fuel feeding problem not with just injectors, but with an upgraded fuel pump (of course), and I think also higher flowing fuel rails.

Thanks for the help guys! It's tuned and by keeping the 80s open longer up high we got it to 6900 rpm and have it shifting there. I'm doing a triple pump system soon to make it a bit "safer" plans to build it soon and up the boost on the D1.
