Reuse stock gaskets agreed but I used the ARH bolts, no problems 3 years later, Yes they come with everything you need.

i was thinking Kooks for the longest time because they have a great reputation but now that I took a look at AMR headers, I am starting to lean that way. It looks like they have a better rounded product compared to Kooks, better clearances, easier install, and a little cheaper. I will really have to consider them when I go the header route.

how long is the install on The AMR vs kooks if anyone has that answer? Also if I got a system w/no cats then would the o2 sensor show as not ready for emissions or would it show as ok?

The rear o2's along with the COT feature need to be turned off if you're not running cats so no the readiness test will show up as not ready.

Scottmach,

I'm almost 100% sure I will be going back to ARH with the O/R X pipe on the Boss and about 90% sure about going with Kooks catback. I've searched but can't find any vids with this exact set-up. The only difference is I may run the quad-x pipe. Would you happen to have a video of your set-up? Also, is the Kooks a straight through design or a chambered muffler?

sorry im a little confused on what you wrote, If they are turned off then will it read not ready or nothing at all? I am pretty sure here in az if it shows as not ready then it will fail.

I have the ARH with off road x-pipe and Kooks catback. The Kooks mufflers are straight through but not super loud. Quick video I shot.

If they are turned off the system will show as not ready and you'll have trouble going through emissions.

100% sure on both now. Thanks for the video. It sounds perfect. Just hope the quad setup sounds as good.

Just throwing a plug in for SW, same list price as arh and zero fitment issues. Pretty much the exact same header. You can pm Sleeper_gt for pricing. But hey as long as you're buying USA products we can't complain.

Let me know if I can help with either the ARH or the Kook's AB. I have a great friend that owns a shop that is a distributor for both, might be able to get you better pricing. Let me know.
