+3 on upgrading the control arms to eliminate wheel hop. I'm running UPR control arms on my 2011 5.0 and they have completely eliminated the wheel hop.

Love the Roush upper as well, if you're looking for a guaranteed no-noise solution. Not adjustable, of course but, that's the compromise to ensure no added nvh.

I've shot mine down the track on slicks over 100 times on this arm, hop free, under all circumstances. Similar results on road. Basically took my Brembo car from a hit and miss mid-high 4 second car to 60 to easily repeatable low 4 seconds, on factory Pirelli summer tires, which are terrible for straight line grip.

I have the Steeda UCA along with the Eibach dampers and springs. This has eliminated wheel hop. It also served to fix my driveline pinion angle issue after dropping the back 2". I still plan to replace the stock LCAs with the Steeda aluminum LCAs - as I am afraid my 520rwtq will bend the cr*p out of them eventually.

Compared to the stamped steel and rubber stockers? Grant ya, the GT500 arms you have went through durability testing and stuck it out behind the GT500's lump but, Steeda stuff meets or exceeds factory durability testing, that's why it costs extra.

Default suspension&chassis upgrades

pick up a 2014 GT about 3 weeks back. Getting it ready for True street and some Et class racing this summer. The Rear suspension is the weakest link in getting the Mustang consistant and quick. IMO. definitly do the upper adj, and lower control arms. Would also rec. Subframe connectors and chassis stiffiner set up. and Adj. rear shocks. IF you plan on doing any time at the track. !!!

Adjustable UCA. Even though its a PITA compared to installing LCA's.

I guess I'm a weirdo. To me, the LCAs made a more noticeable difference than the UCA, but both were very worthwhile upgrades.

It's always whichever one is done first that people get the most satisfaction from, as the addition of the other just tends to enhance the good work of the first. However, evidence widely available on the net shows a colossal amount of twisting of the axle on the stock upper. Generally, there isn't enough available traction on the road to induce wheelhop if you change out suspension parts. Usually, you'll just blow them off cleaner. The upper is the main culprit here though and the traction increase was very noticeable, even on my mild Roush upper only setup. Adding LCAs only slightly improved the situation. I just pulled them off because the car was going into Ford for some warranty service on the end links and a rear shock and I haven't felt paralysed going back to the GT500s.
