08 turbo
You will be able to put more power down with the PH turbo. The x is easier to install and is the more popular FI for a reason. 10-12 psi seems like a little much to me. I think 8-9 is the more widely accepted safe range to be in unless you start building your motor and what not. Someone with more experience will chime in with more definitive answers.
the install part would be the xcharger. most have been installed by the owner. the turbo would have to be installed by a shop unless you can weld. I'd say tuning is even if you have it professionally tuned. If i was going to purchase a turbo i'd get the forced4 system.

It's all about numbers. There are many more PH turbos on the road than the STS or Forced4 kits. That's why you hear more about PH. The X-Charger isn't the only supercharger available for the 4.0L, but that's the one you hear the most about because it is the best selling FI for the 4.0L.
