alright I defenitely wanna S/C thats for sure. But I wanna do it the right way. In other words, I wanna start form the bottom up. I wanna gun hard and feel that my motor is working like it's suppose to and not push the engine thinking that something might be damaged and end up paying more. know what I mean? I want the engine to benefit from the S/C the most it possibly can.

 

He was still on the stock PI intake manifold and VT Stage II cams. With a sheetmetal and reving to the moon he could maybe hit 400 thru a manual and switching to some cams with higher lift. His heads were cleaned up and mildly ported from Fox Lake also with the larger I believe 44cc combustion chambers. The auto is robbing him some HP.

 

If that guy with the auto and trickflow heads put some healthier cams made for the TF heads and a better intake manifold on there, he'd be much better off. Many people that have installed these heads have found that the stock PI intake manifold does not provide adequate flow to make much more than 350rwhp in an N/A application. So the addition of say a trickflow intake manifold with the monoblade throttle body or an edelbrock intake manifold would add power and shift the power curve a bit. But with the 38cc combustion chamber fox lake worked tf heads, some stage 3 or better cams made for the tf heads, some sort of worthy intake manifold, and some 1 7/8's primary longtubes with full 3 inch exhaust would probably do 380rwhp or better with about 10:1 compression...or maybe a little more.
