65 mustang shell fit any other chassis?
Will a 65 mustang shell fit on any other mustangs chassis? I tried looking for information on this but I don't know what it's called, I've seen it done on a video before but thats all I remember about it.

Well, the Mustang isn't really a "shell", it's a unibody, that is, the body and chassis are all one piece.
The 65-73 Mustang were very similar underneath, even sharing some parts in all years. If you mean later Mustangs, such as Mustang II front suspension, yeah, all kinds of conversions have taken place, most require a LOT of cutting and welding.
That said, I once saw a 65 Mustang convertible body bolted on top of a Bronco chassis. Enough to give you nightmares.

You mean like a different year mustang's chassis?
And why do you ask? If your chassis needs replacing, there's more than enough reproduction parts to replace everything you need.
And 2+2GT said it right. The unibody design is different. I can't imagine a mustang on any other chassis, especially bolted onto a bronco chassis!

What video?
If the structural bits are rusted away, I think there might be a custom or semi- regular production aftermarket frame that you can attach whatever's still good to.

If you're up to doing a LOT more work yourself, google "Muttstang" or go read the $5000 Mustang thread over on Pro-Touring.com's Project Updates forum (just so you know, it's not a $5k Mustang any more).
