I want to upgrade my sound in my 2010 GT
I was hoping to find some basic information on the stock speakers sizes for my car. I am going to guess that my Shaker 500 puts out 500 watts? I would love to put in some better speakers and an amp if need to get better sound. Anyone know a good place to lok for basic info like this? Thanks.

www.crutchfield.com is a good place to start. Enter your car details in the Outfit My Car section, and then see what they pull up for you.
In my '08 the top door speakers as well as the rears are 5x7/6x8s, the bottom door speakers ("subs") are 8 inch I think, but are shallow from what I've heard. They also are apparently DVC with an odd wiring hookup. Most people don't end up messing with replacing them.
I bought myself a pair of Infinity 6x8s for the front, and I think they make a big difference. Eventually I am considering moving those to the rear deck and getting a set of components for the front, mounting the tweeter on the door. If I were to do this, I would probably want/need an amp for the fronts, so for now all of that is on hold
