Default Sub Placement?

Whats every ones opinion on sub placement in the Mustang?

I currently have a 10" MTX square sub and a 600w MTX amp. The sub is facing the rear of the trunk in a sealed box.

I plan to do a false floor to hide the amps. I will also remove the rear deck speakers. With them being removed I was wondering if it would be an benefit to face the sub up toward the opening.

I have never liked the way a sub sounded facing forward in a trunk on other cars but never faced one up. The way the box is made I cant do a test run on it yet.

On other cars the bass was never as loud with the subs facing the backseats, will it be the same or better to have them face upwards?

Thanks

subs normally sound better facing back like you have but you can try moving it around if you want.

Pretty much, if you already have the subwoofer and box just experiment with it until you get what you like.
