RE: 2005 Mustang navigation system
My boss back when I worked at his shop had the AVN6600 (now the 6610) in his Silverado, he always took it on trips to go to car shows, conventions and so forth and everytime he came back said it once again saved him from getting totally lost. If you ever took a wrong turn, it knew you turned off somewhere and routes you back to the fastest way to get back on track.
DVD, CD, MP3, iPod, Nav, rear view camera, HD Radio, Sirius, AM/FM. The thing does it all. And of course dont forget the ESN, which you wont find in any other car audio company. Which is Eclipse Security Network, you can click the link and read more on that if you dont know about it. 8 and a half million points of interest. This year it even goes into more detail showing the perimeter of many buildings, something I dont remember being on the 6600.

You can wire it to a switch so you can play it while driving, whether it be adjusting the nav, or watching a movie. Unlike some of the new Pioneer's that have the gyro sensor in them where you pretty much can't bypass that feature.

yup the Eclipse units are very nice. the pioneers are nice too. if you want full-on OEM look, you can buy the Ford navi unit that is now optional on the 2007s. then you can add other aftermarket stuff to it, by using those interfaces from Alpine, JL Audio, or RF.
