Ground noise

So I have a ground noise issue with my deck, but only when using the power outlet and my iPod. The CD player, bluetooth, etc...have no noise. So I know I have a ground issue with the power outlet next to the shifter. Anybody have a good idea on how to redo that ground to eliminate the noise?

Do you have an amplifier in the vehicle? Can you list out the headunit type and brand, as well as the same info for the amp, and the iPod cable.
