98-02 Camaros have 320hp underrated. They're closer to 350hp

Well, I was an F-Body maniac until my first Foxbody May of last year. I was absolutely crazy about 3rd gen Camaros and 4th Gen Camaros and Firebirds so I know a lot. Im not gonna lie, I wanted an IROC-Z like nobody's business. Those cars are very very fast. Faster than most generic GT Mustangs(bone stock that is). Ive driven many, the pickup and speed on those cars is really something. Although, they do not feel anywhere near as refined as a Mustang. Thats why im glad to own a Mustang more. The ride is much better in a stang and the handling feels better(and is better in a Bullitt). Not to mention finding a manual transmission in an F-body is a hell of a task....SO many are autos its ridiculous. Well as far as power goes on these cars, a 93-95 Firebird/Camaro had 275HP stock from the old Vette motor, a 350Ci 5.7 liter motor, the LT1. It was bumped up to 285 in 96 & 97. These are fast but Im 100 percent confident they will lose to Bullitts. In 1998, they started using the LS1 engine which is superior to the LT1 in just about all aspects. Its the same LS1 they used in the 04-06 Pontiac GTOs. Anywyas as far as power goes, the 98-02 Z28/Trans-AM had about 315-320 stock. The WS6 and Camaro SS had about 340 under its hood. These cars are pretty damn fast, but nowhere near as refined as a Mustang. I suppose this is why the Mustang surived and the Camaro/Firebird did not. You can look up stats on the Z28s and Firebirds from 98-02 and it will state like 305-310hp and around 320-325 for the SS/WS6. That is underrated though, as I have seen many Dyno results from stock machines proving it to be more in the 315-320 range and 340 for SS/WS6. SO when you beat that 2000 Z28, pretty damn good job!!!! My friend has an 01 Z28 that he wants to race me with. Im interested to see the result!
Btw, last time I checked the new GTOs have LS2s in them
