Carb for a 67 V6

Default Carb for a 67 V6

So, I sourced a Beautiful 1967 Fastback, for an awesome price, only thing is the carb needs to be replaced. This is my first non fuel injected car, so what am i going to need to know.

do you mean I6?

If so you could get a remanufactured 1bbl, or get a holley 2bbl 350cfm and carb adapter. Also could get a HW5200 and adapter. Both 2bbls will require throttle mods.

If it has the original carb on it, just rebuild it. A real first-time carb, easy to learn on. My ex-wife rebuilt hers, and I practically had to tell her which end of the tools to hold.

Before you work on anything, though, get the factory service manual. Way better that the trash they sell at auto parts stores.
