Default Where to Start?

Hello MF's (Sounds so naughty)

Yesterday was a very exciting day for me as I finally got my car back from the body/paint shop.

Since I had a good friend do the work I was able to swap the rear end and also put 5 lug conversion on it.

Now that it is home where do I start? I have the motor and transmission ready to put in the car. I have a whole room full of parts (sure its only 70% of what Ill actually need)

Do I start with doors and windows? Motor and drivetrain? Electrical? Interior? Is there a process for putting my baby back together.

HELP!!!!!!

Thanks GT and I'll trade you cars straight up any time. How difficult is the electrical on these old girls I've heard anywhere from very simple to its a nightmare? Also I had 200ci in it and now doing a 302 any problems using the same harness?

Electrical is not hard if you are organized and patient. Shouldn't be a diff in the harness between between the motors, only depending on your heater motor and gauges. If those aren't changing, you should be good.

I love your color. Had a 65 Falcon with the same color.

Thanks GT-

Heater motor and gauges are staying the same. I pulled out all the wiring last night and I looks like all of it is there. Looks like some might have even been replaced at one point. Ahh the joys of a basket case. Thanks I had the same color on a 1965 Coupe when I was 17.
