Default Engine Removal pics (Pic heavy)

The 289 in my '68 coupe is hurt so I am pulling it and the C4 to do a 5.0 H.O./T5 swap. I've never pulled an engine before but gained a TON of info from reading this forum. My 15yo son and I have performed all of the work.

GREAT father/son experience!!

Well, on to the pictures......

My son.

+1

I can't wait until I have a son or daughter to help me tinker around the garage. Best of luck with the project.

That is a great American moment there, just wish my son was old enough to help.

Thanks everyone! While the bay is empty I'm gonna do the Shelby drop......install the new master cylinder and booster for the power brake upgrade.........clean and paint the bay.....run the fuel lines and install the pickup and pump for the EFI........go ahead and do the battery relocation and a few other things to get it ready.

My son will use this car to drive to high school.....IF he maintains his outstanding grades and remains the really good kid that he is........I think this car is some really good incentive....
